Incorporating Writing into the World of Social Studies

$220.00$240.00

One of the many elements vital to student learning is writing. Although social studies may not have the same expectations and requirements as ELA, it does requires a great deal of writing. Students must be able to analyze and explain via writing, and they must be able to dissect the writing of primary sources from centuries ago. The more practice students have, the easier and more routine it will become to them. Teachers enrolled in this course will explore proven strategies aimed at writing instruction. Applicable to any middle or high school SS teacher.
