Creating Engaging Activities for the Social Studies Classroom

Not every student would rate social studies as their favorite subject, and that’s okay. There are some ways, however, to get even the most disinterested students engaged in your class. Teachers enrolled in this class will explore various means of presenting content to your students and have them present content to you! These tried and true tactics will captivate your students and lead to better retention of material. Applicable to any middle or high school SS teacher.

45 hours / 3 credits in-service and graduate credits.

Step 2) Register with MNU:

OSA will email you a registration link within 3 days. Click the link and complete your MNU registration. The separate fee to MNU will be $270.

$240 (OSA) + $270 (MNU)= $510 per graduate course with MNU.
