Health and Wellness are two very important terms in a person’s life. In today’s day and age it is crucial that we are aware of our own health and wellness as well as our students. Health and wellness involve the whole body including physical, intellectual, spiritual, occupational, social, and emotional. Incorporating health and wellness strategies beginning at a young age can be extremely beneficial. Health and Wellness activities are a way to build a positive classroom and school climate. There are strategies for all different age groups. No matter what you teach or service you provide you may incorporate health and wellness into your lessons.
This course is applicable to all educators, guidance counselors/social workers/psychologists, administrators, and any related service providers of all subjects, grades K-12. 45 hours / 3 credits in-service and graduate credits.
