The Benefit of Incorporating Music into the Classroom Environment

With music being taken away as a special area subject in many schools, it is important now, more than ever to incorporate music into the daily classroom. We will discuss the benefits of music being used appropriately in the classroom environment, regardless of the subject taught! We will learn creative and fun ways to tie music into lessons and the powerful impact it can have on our students! By the end of the course, you will have a full toolbox of ideas to use in your classroom to encourage your students social/emotional learning. This course is applicable to all educators, guidance counselors/social workers/psychologists, administrators, and any related service providers of all subjects, grades K-12.
45 hours / 3 credits inservice and graduate credits.
