Science in the Non-Science Class
$220.00 – $240.00
What is science and what is science to you? All subjects have a way of intersecting with other subjects. Students in history write with skills they learned in English classes, those in music divide time into fractions learned in math classes. Similarly, science has a way of finding its way into everything around us. Where does science interact with your class and how can you use it to deepen an appreciation for learning in your students? Teachers in this class will explore ways that science has an impact on the topics they teach and how their subjects have an important role to play in science. This course is applicable to all educators, guidance counselors/social workers/psychologists, administrators, and any related service providers of all subjects, grades K-12.
