Presenting Different Genres to ENL Students to Enhance Reading Comprehension

$220.00$240.00

There are several genres students are expected to read and write while learning English. As they progress the assignments become more complex, but the overall purpose of writing becomes the same. In this course you will review the genres taught to English Language Learners at each grade level, understand the importance of analyzing deeper meaning within a text, and focus on the importance of an author’s purpose in written works. This skill is a key component to ENL students reaching proficiency.

This course is applicable to all educators, administrators, and any related service providers of all subjects, grades K-12.

45 hours / 3 credits in-service and graduate credits.
