The benefits of music in learning are never ending.  Science has proven that music can help improve cognitive performance.  Basically, music is known to help increase brain power.  Some of the benefits  in children include enhanced language interpretation, better memory, improved coordination, and increased problem solving skills. Music can help improve social relationships and interactions.  Listening to music will help to activate information being taught emotionally, physically, and mentally.  Using music to enhance learning can be used in any classroom or service.

This course is applicable to all educators, guidance counselors/social workers/psychologists, administrators, and any related service providers of all subjects, grades K-12.

45 hours / 3 credits in-service and graduate credits.
