Argumentative Writing: Teaching Students to Write with a Purpose
$220.00 – $240.00
Posing a different challenge and focus than persuasive writing, argumentative writing assignments require thorough planning, appropriate focus, and a stylistic approach. Many students have difficulty with this type of writing and many teachers struggle to teach it in a way that is understood and easily applied. Teachers enrolled in this course will explore tangible methods that facilitate effective argumentative writing.Â
This course is applicable to all middle school and high school humanities, English teachers, and administrators.
45 hours / 3 credits in-service and graduate credits.
