Analyzing Sources with a Critical Eye

$220.00$240.00

Whenever we listen to information presented on the news or in a publication, we must always consider the source from which it came. As adults, this is something we may routinely do; however, this may be a challenge for students. Because they are exposed to so many news outlets, it may be difficult for them to filter what is reliable and what is not. They may also not be aware of the importance a particular source may be for a document and why that is important. Teachers enrolled in this course will discover effective pedagogical methods aimed at instructing students to be critical of the sources they encounter. Applicable to any middle or high school SS teacher.
